TAP Air Portugal, formally Transportes Aéreos Portugueses (TAP), is the flag carrier of Portugal, headquartered at Lisbon Airport, which also serves as its main hub. Founded in 1945, the airline began commercial services the following year. It has been a member of Star Alliance since 2005.

The roster is published on the 25th and changes several times before the month starts. Days off get rostered and then removed at short notice, which makes anything outside work impossible to plan. [demo]

Fatigue reports get acknowledged and then closed with no change. Safety reports are handled properly, so it is clearly a crewing problem rather than a culture problem, but that does not help when you are on your fourth…
Pros
Good route mix, not the same four sectors forever.
Cons
Standby patterns are punishing.
