Founded in 1994, WestJet is currently the second-largest airline in Canada, and is the eighth largest airline in North America by frequency. It began operations in 1996 with 220 employees, three aircraft, and five destinations, and was launched as a low-cost alternative to the country's major airlines.

Upgrade timelines were roughly what I was told at interview. Commuting policy is the thing to check carefully before you sign, because it is much stricter in practice than the contract implies. [demo]

Sick leave is not held against you, which matters more than people expect. The trade-off is a roster that assumes you will always be available on days off. [demo]
Pros
Colleagues are excellent and crew rooms are decent.
Cons
Days off are theoretical.
