Cargolux Italia S.p.A. is an Italian cargo airline, set up as a joint venture between various Italian investors and the Luxembourgish Cargolux. Its head office is located at Vizzola Ticino and its hub is Milan Malpensa Airport. The airline was established in December 2008 and commenced operations in June 2009.

Roster and how it is published: Per published roster a minimum of 12 days off. One block of 7 consecutive off days ("A"-days) and one block of 5 consecutive off days (either "B" days or "C" days). Once published, "A" and "B" days may only be changed with pilots consent and compensation rules. Once published, "C" days may be moved with prior notification and compensation rules. "C" days may be allocated up to 6 rosters per year. Off day scheme may vary to 7-5/6-6/8-4/4-4-4 (maximum number of “C” days can be 5 so either a block of 4 or 5 not 6days. In a month with requested vacation days, the 12 off days are granted on top of any leave. as of May 30, 2024

Currently staff travel with Cargolux is subject to a temporary embargo if CAO or DG cargo is on board, otherwise free unlimited travel of spouse and children (except USA) on the 6 business class seats of the upper deck on the 747's as of Aug 15, 2024
