Pay lands on time and the per diems are accurate, which is more than I can say for my last airline. What wears you down is the standby pattern and how late the changes come through. [demo]

The roster is published on the 25th and changes several times before the month starts. Days off get rostered and then removed at short notice, which makes anything outside work impossible to plan. [demo]

Contract said one thing about days off and the reality is consistently two or three fewer a month. Everything else has been broadly as advertised. [demo]

Fatigue reports get acknowledged and then closed with no change. Safety reports are handled properly, so it is clearly a crewing problem rather than a culture problem, but that does not help when you are on your fourth…

Upgrade timelines were roughly what I was told at interview. Commuting policy is the thing to check carefully before you sign, because it is much stricter in practice than the contract implies. [demo]
