Management listens on safety, nothing else

Captain · DXB · Apr 2026

NarrowbodySelf-employed3-7 yrsRecommends

Fatigue reports get acknowledged and then closed with no change. Safety reports are handled properly, so it is clearly a crewing problem rather than a culture problem, but that does not help when you are on your fourth…

Pros

Modern fleet, well maintained.

Cons

Roster changes constantly, right up to the day.

Fair pay, no roster stability at all

Cabin Manager · DXB · Oct 2025

Pay lands on time and the per diems are accurate, which is more than I can say for my last airline. What wears you down is the standby pattern and how late the changes come through. [demo]

Pros

Safety reporting is taken seriously.

Cons

Days off are theoretical.

Solid contract, the reality does not match it

Captain · DXB · Oct 2025

TurbopropAgency7+ yrsRecommends

The roster is published on the 25th and changes several times before the month starts. Days off get rostered and then removed at short notice, which makes anything outside work impossible to plan. [demo]

Pros

Pay arrives on time, every month.

Cons

Commuting policy is far stricter than it reads.
